BRIEF

In 2020 Chris Simcock storyboarded a spotlight showcasing techniques required by virtual productions for films and episodics. The ambition was to highlight ICVFX workflows for motion pictures.

In eight weeks Chris supervised a team of VP specialists to produce a game engine world. Partnering with disguise to shoot the spotlight on their xR stage in London, RTA combined disguise's xR software with Unreal Engine, LED volume, and camera tracking technology.

In 2022 the spotlight was released by RTA and disguise, marking the first episode for VP audiences to stream.
